Introduction: The next bay to the south is Agni and is divided into two parts - the northern bay, called Yaliskari, and Agni proper. At Yaliskari one can anchor near the beach and take a line ashore in case of the northwesterly Maistros which comes from the land. There are three taverns at Agni; each one has a wooden pier with depths from two to three meters at the head where one can moor if one plans to eat there. Care should be taken when tying up at these piers to leave the craft far enough from the jetty because when the ferry-boats from Italy sail past, they create big waves. One can also lie at anchor in the bay in depths from 3 to 7 meters, good holding.
