Introduction: Once a traditional fishing village now a developed tourist destination. The small harbour is deep enough for sailboats only near the head of the jetty. It provides shelter from the Maistros but is usually full of fishing caiques and tripper boats.
On the sea-front there are taverns, bars, super markets, telephones, and some days a local open-air fish market.
Plans for the harbour's extension so as to accommodate yachts are in the final stages.
