GPS: Lat: 39° 41' 41N, Long: 19° 50' 12E Approach: The newly constructed harbour at Ypsos is north of the densely wooded peninsula dividing the bays of Ypsos and of Dassia. There are no navigational difficulties in approaching it but it is difficult to see at night when surrounded by the lights of the shore road and restaurants. Mooring: The harbour provides shelter in all weather and good holding in sandy bottom. The dock along the shore has depths of about a meter. One can go bows-to inside the windward breakwater, with depths two meters (three toward the head) but landing is difficult. Alternatively one can moor at the head of the small mole on the northern side where depths are about two meters. Further information: The harbour is not yet complete and does not provide other services (water, fuel). The sea-shore at Ypsos however is one of the most developed with an abundance of restaurants, bars, discos, supermarkets. One can swim and there are facilities for water skiing and diving and other aquatic sports.
