GPS: No Info

Approach: This harbour is at the northern end of Garitsa bay, slightly south of the old fortress. Care is needed because of shoals south of the harbour, therefore one should approach from the open sea heading west. Also in Garitsa bay opposite the large hotel, about 150 meters out, is another shoal.

Mooring: This harbour and all of Garitsa bay provides safe anchorage in winds ranging from northerlies to westerlies. In strong southerlies, it is untenable, even within the harbour. In summer you may go stern-to, either outside the breakwater with depths of four meters, or inside with depths of three meters at the head of the mole to 1.6 meters at the southwest end. Care is needed when entering the harbour not to approach the shore right in front of the building where the waters are shallow as they are also at the southern quay.

Further information: The harbour belongs to the Nautical Club of Corfu; there is a cafe-bar in the building. The city center is a 5 to 8 minute walk away.
