Introduction: -

GPS: Lat: 39° 13' 50N,     Long: 20° 7' 51E

Approach: North of the harbour is an old quarry, visible from a distance. Care is needed because of the shallows stretching south of the harbour along the bay.

Mooring: Safe mooring from all weather in the harbour. Care is needed in mooring behind the breakwater because at some points it is shallow very near to it. One is better off at the new quay towards land with depths greater than 2 meters.

Further information: Taverns ashore usually have fresh fish. Provisions at the village of Argyrades some three kilometers away. Picturesque coves for swimming south of the harbour, protected from the northwesterly Maistros.
